Ordering

The website PcMmac.fi is open 24 hours a day. However, the webshop may be temporarily closed due to maintenance. Choose the products you want to buy and place them in the “shopping cart”. You can go back and edit the content of the basket right up until the time of order, and you can regularly check the content and the product price. Shipping fees are displayed and calculated instantly, so that you will see the total price including shipping fees in the beginning of the payment process instead of in the end. PcMac.fi will not charge you any payment fees.

When you’re ready to order, click the “Shopping Cart” in the upper right corner of the website. Start by choosing the delivery and payment form. Then enter your name, address, e-mail and telephone number. Confirm your purchase by clicking the button “Accept- Go to Payment”. Your order will be forwarded to PcMac.fi and you will immediately receive an order confirmation on your screen and via email. When you receive an order confirmation from PcMac.fi via e-mail, you have entered into a binding purchase agreement.

When you place a product order, you will receive an order confirmation, confirming that the ordered products are ready for delivery. When the order confirmation has been sent to the buyer, the buyer has entered into a binding agreement. Once you have received the order confirmation, you cannot access and modify the order confirmation via the website PcMac.fi. If you would like a new copy of the order confirmation by e-mail, please send an e-mail via the contact form on PcMac.fi. If you have entered something wrong, or if you want to change your order after the order has been closed, PcMac.fi will help you with changes or corrections if you send an e-mail via our contact form on pcmac.fi.

This means that the information cannot be seen or accessed by others.

For credit card purchases, payment will be deducted from your account when the ordered products are sent from PcMac.fi. When paying by PayPal, however, payment is due immediately. PcMac.fi pays all credit card fees for all card types.

You can pay with the following card types in the online store: Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron and also via PayPal.

There are no payment fees on PcMac.fi.

Delivery times

All orders are shipped within 24 hours after payment. In order to ensure the fastest delivery of an ordered product, where the delivery time can be extended due to, for example, high demand, a systematic upgrade can be made and an automatic delivery of the corresponding slightly better, more expensive and systemically equivalent product without additional payment for the customer, f .g. Microsoft Office Home and Business over Microsoft Office Home and Student.

Shipping

All prices include shipping costs. Software is mostly delivered via ESD – Electronic Software Distribution – i.e. digitally in the form of an e-mail with a link for download of the installation files and the associated license and product key.

When you buy licenses with an associated physical installation media (DVD), they are delivered by Posti Oy Finland. The shipping costs are immediately displayed in connection with the individual product description. Shipping costs related to the physical installation media, and other physical products such as hardware, only apply within the borders of Finland.

Installation and product activation warranty

Correct licensing of a software product requires that you are authorised by the software manufacturer’s activation procedure to use the version of the software that has been installed and validated during the installation.

As an additional security – on top of your 14-day cancellation right – when purchasing software from PcMac.fi, you have the benefit of an enhanced installation and activation warranty. This means that you have the right to cancel your purchase and return the software license if you have been unable to successfully complete the software manufacturer’s activation and validation process within 30 days of receipt.

To be covered by the installation and activation warranty, you as a buyer are obliged to notify PcMac.fi via e-mail or phone, that you have been unable to install and activate the software correctly within 3 days of receipt of the application and, where appropriate, to allow PcMac.fi to help you implement the installation and activation of the software via free remote access to your computer.

Should PcMac.fi fail to install and activate the application, the invoice and purchase will be annulled, provided that you, the buyer, return the product key unused and inactivated. As documentation, you will receive a credit note and your payment will be refunded. In this situation, you, the buyer, are legally obligated to accept a sworn statement to delete the received product key, and you may not under any circumstances try to use it in a different context or disclose it to a third party.

Apart from the above installation and activation warranty, PcMac.fi provides no further cancellation rights for purchased software licenses since the registration and activation of the software license with the software manufacturer implicitly means, that the buyer agrees that the product cannot be returned. When the license for a given software product is transferred to the buyer, and registration, product activation and validation with the manufacturer has been accepted and implemented, the right to complain and cancel is annulled, and the buyer is subsequently only coved by the software manufacturer’s warranties and licensing rules. If you would like to try a certain software before purchasing, then basically any software can be downloaded via the manufacturer’s website and tested for free during a trial period.

Cancellation right

As a consumer, you have 14 days’ cancellation right when shopping with us. The cancellation right expires 14 days after the day you received your product or received the last product in good physical possession in case several items were purchased in one order and delivered separately. Within 14 days of receipt, you must inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase. The application must be submitted via our contact form using the standard cancellation form for cancellation. Inform us clearly that you want to make use of your cancellation right.

Refund of the purchase price: If you wish to cancel your purchase, we will return the amount you paid us. In case of any depreciation caused by you, this amount will be deducted. If you make use of your cancellation right, we will refund all payments from you without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the date of notification that you wish to cancel this agreement. The refund will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless you explicitly wish otherwise.

We can hold back the refund until we receive the return delivery unless you have submitted documentation before returning it.

Complaints

When you shop with us as a consumer, you are granted a 36-month warranty. This means that you can either get a repair, replacement, payment refund or a price reduction depending on the specific situation. It is a precondition that the complaint is legitimate and that the fault has not occurred due to improper use of the product or other harmful behaviour.

You must complain within “reasonable time” after discovering the product´s shortage. If you complain within two months after the error has been discovered, the complaint will always be timely. If you have purchased a software license, send error documentation (e.g. a screenshot) via our contact form that clarifies the fault of the product.

Any dispute will be resolved by the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution (EU ODR).

System requirments and software
All software products from PcMac.fi have minimum requirements for the computer on which the software will be installed. It is important that you check with us or check if your computer meets the requirements for each product before you complete your order. You will find the producer’s minimum requirements in each product description. If you are unsure whether your computer meets the system requirements for a particular product, please contact us via our contact form or by telephone. For both new and older versions of the software and the matching license, the delivery consists of a product key, an instruction, and links to download the relevant software, or a DVD for installation, and further, the software manufacturer’s associated End User Agreement (EULA) must be accepted in order to be authorised to use the software.

PcMac.fi grants no independent warranty for software products apart from the installation and product activation warranty. This means that the buyer is covered by the warranty that the manufacturer of the software products has issued in general and specifically issues to the buyer in connection with the registration, product activation and validation of the product. The buyer is also subject to the current licensing rules issued by the software manufacturers.
